The Members page lists everyone in your Warrant workspace, including people who have been invited but haven't joined yet. Admins use it to change access levels, add people to groups, hand out Social seats, open each person's settings, and remove people who have left. To invite someone new, see Invite Users to OS.
Where to find it
Click Settings in the left sidebar.
Under the Members heading, select Members.
At the top of the page, summary cards show your Active Members and Pending Invites. If your company has Social seats, a Reach Seats card shows how many are in use out of how many you've purchased.
The member table
The Team members table has one row per person or pending invitation, with these columns:
Member: name and email address.
Status: see the statuses below.
Access level: Member, Admin or Super Admin.
Roles: the capability roles that reach this person, directly or through a group.
Groups: the groups they belong to.
Social Reach: whether they hold a Social seat. This column appears when your company has Social.
Last active: when they last used Warrant, or Never.
On a narrow screen the table scrolls sideways, and the ⋯ menu at the end of each row stays pinned to the right so you can always reach it.
Member statuses
Active: the person has joined and can sign in.
Pending: an invitation has been sent but not yet accepted.
Unverified: the person has an account but hasn't verified their email address yet.
Deactivated: the account can no longer sign in, for example because it was switched off under your dormant account policy (Settings → Members → Access & security).
Change someone's access level
Find the person in the table.
Open the dropdown in their Access level column and choose Member or Admin. The change saves straight away and takes effect immediately, with no sign-out needed.
A few rules apply:
You can't change your own access level.
Only a Super Admin can give someone the Super Admin access level, or change the access level of another Super Admin.
Deactivated accounts and pending invitations can't be edited from the table.
Admins and Super Admins have full access, so capability roles don't restrict them. Their Roles cell shows Full access instead of a list of roles.
Assign roles and groups from the table
Groups: click the person's Groups cell (it reads Add to group when they're in none) and tick or untick a group. Each change saves immediately. If there are no groups yet, create one under Settings → Members → Groups.
Roles: when your company enforces capability roles, click the person's Roles cell (it reads Assign role when they have none) and tick or untick a role. A few things to know:
Roles that reach someone through a group are shown ticked and marked via group. You can't remove those here, because that would change the group for everyone in it. Edit the group instead.
If a role would let the same person both submit and approve, Warrant asks you to assign it from Settings → Members → Roles, where you record the reason.
For more on how roles work, see Managing Roles & Permissions.
Social seats: turn the switch in the Social Reach column on or off. The switch is unavailable when all your purchased seats are in use. See User Roles in Reach for what a seat gives someone.
Open a person's page
Click anywhere on a person's row, or open the ⋯ menu and choose Manage member. Their page brings everything about that person together:
Identity: edit their Display name. Their email address is their sign-in identity and can't be changed here.
Access: their Access level, the Roles that reach them (click Edit to go to the Roles page), and their Groups (click Edit groups to add or remove them). A role that comes from a paused group is labelled (via a paused group) and grants nothing.
Effective capabilities: what this person can actually do, worked out from their access level and every active role that reaches them. Highlighted capabilities are ones they have. Hover over a capability for a description. If your company doesn't enforce capability roles, the page tells you that roles are assigned but not enforced.
Products & scoping: their Reach seat switch (when your company has Social), with a count of seats in use, and their Scan preset. Choosing a saved scan preset restricts which set of policies this person's scans run against. Choose No restriction to remove it.
Account: for a deactivated person, this is where you reactivate them (see below).
Changes on this page save as you make them. Click Members at the top to go back to the table.
Resend an invitation or verification email
For a Pending invitation, open the ⋯ menu on the row and choose Resend Invitation.
For an Unverified member, open the ⋯ menu and choose Resend Verification Email.
Reactivate a deactivated account
Find the person with the Deactivated status.
Open the ⋯ menu and choose Reactivate Account. You can also open their page and click Reactivate in the Account section.
They get their access back with the same settings they had before. Reactivating also resets the dormancy clock, so they won't be deactivated again straight away for inactivity.
Remove a member
Removing someone permanently deletes their Warrant account and signs them out everywhere straight away. It can't be undone. Only Super Admins can remove members, and you can't remove yourself.
Open the ⋯ menu on the person's row and choose Remove User.
Before you can confirm, Warrant checks what the person would leave behind and asks you to deal with it:
Projects they own: choose a New owner for each project. Projects with a pending Project Owner approval are flagged, because that approval needs an owner to sign off.
Personal social templates: choose Convert to company templates to keep them for your team, or Delete with this member.
Pending approvals where they are the named approver: these would have no one to sign off, so removal is blocked. Reassign those approvals to someone else in the approval flow, then reopen the dialog.
Once everything is resolved, click Remove User to confirm.
To cancel an invitation someone hasn't accepted yet, a Super Admin can open the ⋯ menu on the pending row and choose Remove Invitation.
Who can use it
Admins and Super Admins can open the Members page, change access levels, roles, groups and Social seats, edit people's pages, resend invitations and reactivate accounts.
Super Admins can also grant the Super Admin access level, edit other Super Admins, and remove members and invitations.
Members don't see the Members page in Settings.
If your company has Social, Social members under the Social Reach heading in Settings shows the same table filtered to people who hold a Social seat.
