Warrant Social is where your team drafts, reviews, approves and publishes social content, with compliance checks built into the same workflow you already use for assets. This guide covers the admin setup: access, connected channels, settings and approvals. Setup takes about 15 minutes.
You will find Social using the toggle at the top of the left sidebar. Switch between Library and Social to move between your asset workspace and your social workspace.
Step 1: Give your team access to Social
Social is seat based. Only people with a Social seat see the Social workspace, and only their content appears in it.
For people already in Warrant:
Go to Settings, then Social members under the Social Reach heading.
Find the person in the list and toggle their Social seat on.
For people not yet in Warrant:
Invite them to your Warrant account and set their access level. Admins can manage settings, approve content and delete any post. Members can create, submit and publish their own posts.
Assign their groups in the same dialog. Groups you set at invite time are applied automatically when the person accepts.
Once they are in the account, go to Social members and toggle their Social seat on.
You can change a member's access level or groups at any time from the member table. Select the groups cell to open the dropdown, or open the member's detail page. Toggling a seat off removes someone's access to Social without removing them from Warrant.
Step 2: Connect your channels
Connected channels let Warrant publish on your behalf and pull back metrics. You will find them in the Connect Channels section of the Social sidebar, and in Settings, then Integrations under My Account.
Select the channel you want to connect.
Sign in and authorize Warrant.
A green dot and the account name confirm the connection.
Each person connects their own personal profile. Company pages can also be connected for the organization.
You do not have to connect a channel to use Social. Posts on unconnected channels are drafted, scanned and approved in Warrant, then you can mark them as published once you post.
Step 3: Set your Social settings
Everything specific to Social lives under the Social Reach heading in Settings.
Social settings is where you configure how Social behaves: the brand guidelines it writes and checks against, how reviews run on posts, and the categories your template library is grouped by.
Social AI policies controls which compliance policies apply to social content. Policies scoped to social are the ones Warrant enforces when a post is scanned, and the same set shapes AI generation, so drafts arrive closer to approvable.
Social members is the access list from Step 1.
Your wider compliance setup still applies. AI Policies and Review settings under Compliance govern your whole account, and the social settings above narrow them for social content.
Disclosures
Social uses the disclosures already in your Brand Portal. A disclosure appears in social scans when it is scoped to social, and you can give it channel specific variants so the wording fits a shorter format.
Step 4: Set up approval workflows
Approvals for social live in the same approval system as the rest of Warrant, with flows tagged for social content.
Go to Settings, then Approvals under Company.
Create an approval flow and add your reviewers. Stages can run in sequence or in parallel, and you decide whether one approver or all approvers must sign off.
Set auto approval for social. The default is Inherit from assets, which uses whatever you have configured for the rest of Warrant. Override it here if social should have its own compliance score threshold.
Once a flow is in place, a member selects Submit for approval in the composer. The post moves to In Review, reviewers are notified, and they can approve or request changes. A post with changes requested goes back to the author to edit and resubmit.
You can filter Approvals to social content only, so social reviewers are not working through asset approvals.
Step 5: Set your voice
My Voice is per person and sits in Settings, under My Account. It tells Warrant how you write so generated drafts sound like you rather than like a template.
Fill it in yourself, or select Draft my persona and Warrant proposes a starting point from your recent published posts and your profile. Nothing is applied until you review and save it.
You can also set a company default voice, which applies to anyone who has not set up their own.
What your team sees
Visibility in Social follows the post's status, and it is enforced everywhere: lists, folders, search and the calendar.
Drafts are visible only to the author.
Submitted posts are visible to the author, admins and the assigned approvers.
Published posts are visible to everyone with a Social seat.
Social posts never appear in the OS Library, My Uploads or Library search. They stay in the Social workspace.
Archive is available on unpublished posts only. Admins can delete any post. Members can delete their own posts, but not once they are published.
