Overview

Warrant OS search helps you quickly find files and specific phrases across your library, whether you’re tracking down a claim, a disclosure, or a specific piece of content for review.

Exact Search

Use quotation marks (" ") to find exact phrases instead of broad matches.

How it works:

  • Type your phrase in quotes in the search bar

  • Review the results list

  • Open a result to jump directly into the file and see where the phrase appears

Example: "free trial"

This is useful when you’re verifying specific language across multiple assets or checking content flagged in a compliance scan.

Search Filters

Search filters help you control where Warrant OS looks for results.

You can choose to search across:

  • All Metadata - Searches file names, descriptions, tags, channels, and other context fields

  • Within Files Only - Searches the actual content inside documents, images, and videos

  • Both - Searches metadata and in-file content at the same time

Use filters to narrow large result sets during audits, legal reviews, or when working across multiple products or regions.

In-File Search

In-file search helps you find a specific phrase inside an open asset.

How to use:

  • Press Control + F (Windows) or Command + F (Mac)

  • Or click the Search tab in the file viewer

Warrant OS highlights where the phrase appears and lets you jump between each instance.

This is especially helpful for long documents, videos, or recorded content where manually scanning would take time.

Tips

  • Use quotes when checking compliance language or required disclosures

  • Combine filters with search terms to narrow results quickly

  • Use in-file search to jump straight to the section or moment that matters
