Brand Portal Libraries, conditional rules, a Creator role, a public status page and more.

Written by Austin Carroll

Brand Portal Libraries

Keep your approved facts in one place, and Warrant checks your content against them automatically.

  • Templates or from scratch: Templates cover Substantiation and Performance Data, Rates and Pricing, Offers and Promotions, Trademarks, Testimonials and Endorsements, and Partners and Affiliations. Each library gets its own columns, icon and sidebar entry.

  • Guided builder: Name the library, choose its columns (including dropdowns), and import records from a spreadsheet. The preview shows which columns will be imported and which will be skipped.

  • Add records your way: Upload a document or spreadsheet, pick a file already in Warrant, fill in a form, or describe the record in a sentence and let AI draft it.

  • Automatic claim checks: Scans flag figures that don't match their record and claims backed by an expired record, with a link back to the record. Approved alternate wordings and supporting documents are used too.

  • Needs Attention counts: See records expiring within 30 days, expired, never checked, or flagged. Click any count to filter. The same counts now appear on the Disclosures and Products tabs.

Conditional rules for disclosures and library records

You can now control exactly when a disclosure or record applies using IF/THEN rules. Rules can be based on channel, geography, audience, product, brand, the content's text, or the file name. They are checked in order, and the first match decides.

Creator role

There is a new built-in role for people who make content. Creators can upload, scan, comment and submit for approval, but can't approve, delete or administer. Existing workspaces get the role automatically.

Approval flow edits no longer disrupt work in progress

Anything submitted before you edit an approval flow finishes under the flow it started with, and new submissions use the updated flow. SLA tracking follows the same rule.

Role changes take effect immediately

Promoting or demoting a teammate now applies right away, with no sign-out needed.

Members of a group with the Admin role can now make admin changes, not just see admin screens.

Safer member removal

Before you remove a teammate, Warrant shows the projects they own and their personal templates. You can reassign each project to someone else and choose whether to keep or delete their templates. Warrant also warns you if removing someone would leave an approval with no one to sign off.

One Download menu

Across the Brand Portal and AI Policies, "export what's here" and "download a blank template" now sit together in one menu, labelled with the file format you'll get.

Public status page

You can now check whether Warrant is up at status.hellowarrant.com, without needing to contact us. The page shows the current state of Warrant and recent uptime history.
