Warrant lets you know when something needs your attention, such as a file waiting for your review or a comment that mentions you. This article covers where to find your notifications, how to choose which ones you get, and how to update your profile.
The Notifications page
Click Notifications in the left sidebar, or the bell icon at the top of the page.
Each notification shows the date, what happened (for example "Alex submitted for approval" or "Jordan mentioned you") and the file it relates to. Unread notifications are marked with a blue dot.
Unread / Read: the page opens on Unread. Switch to Read to see notifications you've already opened.
All / Library / Reach: narrow the list to notifications from your library or from Reach (Social).
View: opens the related file or page and marks the notification as read.
Mark all as read: clears your unread list in one click.
Dismiss: hover over a notification and click the check mark to remove it from your list.
Date: click the column heading to switch between newest and oldest first.
The page shows your most recent 100 notifications. Use the refresh icon to check for new ones.
Choose which notifications you get
Open Settings.
Under Personal settings, click Preferences & notifications.
In the Notifications section, turn each toggle on or off. Changes save automatically.
Approvals: when your submissions are approved or need changes, or when something needs your review. This covers submitted, resubmitted, approved, changes requested, canceled and reassigned reviews.
Comments: when someone comments on a file you uploaded, or replies to your comment.
Mentions: when someone mentions you in a comment.
All three are on by default. Turning a toggle off stops both the emails and the in-app notifications for those events. Click the info icon next to a toggle to see exactly who is notified for each event.
Some notifications don't have a toggle and always arrive in-app, such as Compliance scan completed for scans you start. If your company has connected Slack, workflow events are also posted to your company's Slack channel. See Connect Slack to Warrant.
Set your timezone
On the same Preferences & notifications page, use Timezone under Regional settings. Warrant shows dates and times in the timezone you pick.
Update your profile
Open Settings.
Under Personal settings, click Profile.
Update any of the following. Changes save automatically.
Upload photo: a JPG, PNG or GIF, up to 2MB.
Display name: the name teammates see on comments, approvals and notifications.
Position title: your job title, for example Marketing Manager.
Your Email address is the one you sign in with and where Warrant sends email notifications. To change it, contact your company admin or Warrant Support.
Tip: type "notifications" or "timezone" into the Settings search box to jump straight to these options. See Finding your way around Settings.
