Compliance Dashboards

Track approval throughput, SLAs, risk and volume with ready-made and custom dashboards you can share with your team.

Written by Austin Carroll

Dashboards give compliance leads, reviewers and executives a live view of approval throughput, SLAs, risk and volume, built from the asset and approval data already in Warrant. Start from a ready-made template, or have an admin build a custom dashboard and share it with the people who need it.

Where to find it

In the left sidebar, click Dashboard. The Dashboards page lists every dashboard you can see under Templates. Click a card to open it.

The built-in templates

  • Compliance Lead: the full operational view, with SLAs, the aging queue, breaches, reviewer workload, and breakdowns by product, brand, channel and library.

  • Reviewer: the queue at a glance, with throughput, oldest items, time in state, the breach log, and reviewer workload.

  • Exec: a high-level rollup, with throughput, SLA compliance, scan volume, asset states, expiring assets, and risk trends.

Read a dashboard

  1. Open a dashboard from the Dashboards page.

  2. Use the filter bar to narrow the data by Product, Product Level, Channel, Reviewer, Jurisdiction and Date range (Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days or Last 12 months).

  3. If any open items are past their SLA target, a banner says how many. Click View breached items to see them in a side panel.

Widgets you can see include Approval throughput, SLA compliance, Scan volume, SLA status (live), Aging (oldest in queue), Breach log, Time in state, Asset counts by state, Expired & expiring soon, Reviewer workload & SLA attainment, per-product, per-brand and per-channel breakdowns, Library findings, and Risk & violation trends.

Customize a dashboard's layout (admins)

  1. Open the dashboard and click Edit.

  2. Click Add widget to open the Widget library. Click Add next to a widget to add it, or the minus button to remove one.

  3. Click Save layout to keep your changes. Until you save, the dashboard shows Unsaved changes.

  4. Click Done to leave edit mode.

A built-in template you've saved changes to shows Custom layout on its card.

Set SLA targets (admins)

In edit mode, click SLA targets to set, for each risk priority, the hours allowed for first review and for approval, plus the at-risk threshold. The advanced options let you create detailed SLA policies (for example by approval flow, risk band, channel or stage) and choose whether the clock counts elapsed time or business days only.

Create a custom dashboard (admins)

  1. On the Dashboards page, click New.

  2. Enter a Name, for example "QBR Dashboard".

  3. Under Who can see this, choose who has access (see below). New dashboards start private.

  4. Click Create. The dashboard starts empty, so click Edit and Add widget to build it, then Save layout.

To rename or delete a custom dashboard, use the ... menu on its card. Only the person who created it can rename it.

Private and shared dashboards

Each dashboard has one of two settings:

  • Everyone in the company: anyone with access to dashboards can open it.

  • Only specific people: only the people, groups or roles you add can open it. Its creator and admins can always see it. A dashboard set this way with no one added is private, and shows a lock icon on its card.

To change who can see a dashboard:

  1. Open it and click Share (the button also shows who can see it now, such as Everyone, Private or Shared with 3), or choose Share... from the card's ... menu.

  2. Choose Everyone in the company or Only specific people.

  3. If you chose specific people, search for and add people, groups or roles.

  • The creator of a custom dashboard and admins can change its sharing. Admins can also restrict the built-in Compliance Lead, Reviewer and Exec templates, which hides them from anyone not given access.

  • A dashboard someone shared with you is view only, and its card says who shared it.

  • Sharing a dashboard shares the view, not extra data. Each person sees only the data their own permissions allow.

  • Access through a paused group or role starts working again once that group or role is active.

Who can use it

  • Anyone with the View permission can open dashboards they have access to. If you see No access to dashboards, ask an admin for a role with View.

  • Only admins can edit layouts, set SLA targets, and create or delete custom dashboards.
