The Social Calendar

See your scheduled and published posts by day, and drag to reschedule.

Written by Austin Carroll

The Social calendar shows your posting cadence at a glance: every post that is scheduled to go out, and every post that has already been published, laid out by day. It is available to everyone with a Social seat.

Where to find it

Select Calendar in the Social sidebar. It sits at the bottom of the Posts group.

What appears on the calendar

Only posts with a real date land on the calendar:

  • Scheduled posts appear on the day they are queued to publish. They have a dashed amber outline and a clock icon so you can tell them apart from posts that are already live.

  • Published posts appear on the day they went live. This includes posts you marked as published yourself.

Drafts and posts still in review do not appear until they are scheduled or published. The calendar follows the same visibility rules as the rest of Social, so you only see posts you are allowed to see.

Choose whose posts you see

Use the toggle in the top right:

  • My posts shows only the posts you wrote. This is the default.

  • Company-wide adds the posts from your teammates that you can see.

Next to the toggle, the streak counts the consecutive days, up to today, with at least one published post. It follows the toggle, so it shows your own streak on My posts and your team's on Company-wide.

Switch views

Pick Month, Week or List above the calendar. Use the arrows to move back and forward, and Today to jump back to the current date.

  • Month is the default. Each day shows up to three posts as small tiles with the post's image or video thumbnail. If a day has more, select +N more to see them all in List view.

  • Week shows seven day columns with a full card for each post, including its status and compliance score.

  • List shows the month's posts grouped by day, in time order.

Select a post to open it. Select a post's thumbnail to play its video or expand its image without leaving the calendar.

Reschedule a post

The quickest way to move a post to another day is to drag it.

  1. In Month or Week view, find a scheduled post of your own that has not been published yet.

  2. Drag it onto another day. The post keeps its original time of day and moves to the new date.

  3. A confirmation shows the new date and time, for example Rescheduled to Tue, Oct 6 at 9:00 AM.

You can only drop a post on today or a future day, and the new time must still be in the future. If the reschedule fails, the post moves back to where it was and Warrant tells you why.

To change the time of day as well, open the post and select Publish or reschedule. Choose Schedule, pick a new Publish date and time, and confirm. You can also choose Publish now to send it immediately.

Good to know

  • You can drag only your own posts. Published posts cannot be moved.

  • Scheduling is available once a post has cleared your company's approval process, on a channel you have connected to Warrant. See Create a Post in Social for how to schedule a post the first time.

  • Dates and times are shown in your browser's local time.
