Social Reports

Build, save and export reports on your social posts, including engagement and compliance.

Written by Austin Carroll

Social has its own Reports page for your social posts. It works the same way as Reports in the Library, but every report is scoped to social posts and gains columns for engagement, live links and compliance. Use it to track what was published, how it performed and how it scored.

Where to find it

Select Reports in the Social sidebar. Reports you build here include social posts only. Reports in the Library cover your assets.

Start from a template

The same three templates are available as in the Library. In Social, Full Report is set up for posts: a complete post inventory with status, ownership, engagement and compliance. By default it includes:

  • File name, status, uploaded by, channel and folder

  • Published / Scheduled date, created date and last modified date

  • Engagement metrics: Engagement, Impressions, Reach, Likes, Comments, Shares, Saves, Clicks and Video Views

  • Live Post link, Compliance Score and Findings

Approvals Log and Expiring Soon work as they do in the Library, filtered to posts.

Create your own report

  1. Select New Report, or open a template to customize it.

  2. Filter the posts by status, channel, owner, folder, dates and other fields.

  3. Select Columns to choose what appears. The social columns above are offered only in Social.

  4. Choose a sort order.

  5. Select Save Report, name it, choose Who can see this, and save.

Saving, sharing, favorites and duplicating work exactly as described in Reporting.

Export a report

Export any report as CSV, Excel (XLSX) or PDF. The export follows the report's current filters, columns and sort, and only the selected rows if you have selected any.

Not every platform reports every metric. A metric a post's platform does not provide shows as a dash on screen and in the export, never as 0, so you can tell "not measured" apart from "no activity".
